Petitioner and Respondent No. 2 were referred to mediation. Parties have settled their disputes. Settlement Agreement dated 06.07.2018 has been executed. Same is taken on record. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the settlement parties have mutually agreed to take divorce. Petitioner has agreed to pay a total sum of Rs.10,00,000/- to respondent No.2. A sum of Rs.7,00,000/- has already been paid and balance sum of Rs.3,00,000/- has to be paid at the time of her statement before the Court for quashing of FIR No.591/2016 under Section 498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- was deposited before the Trial Court in terms of order CRL.REV.P. 279/2018

of this court dated 04.04.2018. In terms of the Settlement Agreement dated 06.07.2018 it has been agreed that the amount of Rs.1,00,000/- deposited with the Trial Court is to be released in favour of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner shall be filing a petition for quashing of the subject FIR and praying that the amount of Rs.1,00,000/- deposited with the Trial Court be adjusted in the balance amount to be paid to respondent No.2. The statement is taken on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the revision petition. It is clarified that the amount of Rs.1,00,000/- deposited with the Trial Court in terms of order dated 04.04.2018 be released in terms of Settlement Agreement dated 06.07.2018 at the time for quashing of the subject FIR No.591/2016 under Section 498A/34.

Petition stands disposed of in the above terms. 7.
