This is a writ petition filed on behalf of the petitioner for issuing directions for expediting the trial in SC No. 325/2022 titled as "State Vs. Manjeet and Ors. In FIR No. 107/2021 P.S.Mundka under Section 302/398/120B/34 IPC and 25/27 Arms Act pending before the court of learned ASJ-02, West, Tis Hazari Courts.

Learned counsel submits that petitioner was arrested on 18.04.2021 and since then he has been in judicial custody and till date only few of the witnesses have been partly examined.

completely examined while the others are partly examined because of the reason that the CCTV Footage has been sent to FSL and report is being awaited.

Investigating Officer/concerned SHO are directed to give priority letter to the Director, FSL for expediting the filing of the FSL result. Since the trial is pending for the last about four years, without much progress, the trial court is also directed to expedite the trial with further directions that till such time the FSL report is filed, the trial court may at least proceed to record the statements of the remaining witnesses which are unconnected with the CCTV Footage.

The petition accordingly stands disposed of in terms of the above directions.
