O R D E R

% 24.10.2017 Respondent No.2 Ms.Payal Kapoor is present in Court and has been identified by SI Parveen Kumar, PS Rani Bagh. Respondent No.2 says that she has settled the matter with the petitioner before the Mediation Centre, Rohini Courts, Delhi on May 30, 2013 of her own free will, and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

She further submits that her marriage with the petitioner has already dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent dated October 13, 2014 passed by the Family Court-03, Rohini Courts, Delhi. Respondent No.2 says that she has received the entire settled amount and she is not willing to pursue the present FIR any further and the

same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent No.2, terms whereof stand complied with, in the interest of justice, FIR No.329/2010 under Sections 498-A/406 IPC registered at Police Station Rani Bagh and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
