O R D E R

% 10.03.2017 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No. 682/15 under Sections 287/337 IPC registered at police station Hari Nagar on the complaint of respondent no.2, may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Kailash Chand of police station Hari Nagar. Respondent no.2 submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioner of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

He further submits that he is not willing to pursue the FIR any further in view of the settlement and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the parties, inasmuch as, respondent no.2 is not willing to pursue the FIR, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the present criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 682/15 under Sections 287/337 IPC registered at police station Hari Nagar, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.

Writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
