The present petition under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter 'the A&C Act') seeks extension of time for completion of arbitral proceedings and making of the arbitral award. 2.

The arbitral proceedings are in the context of a contract awarded by the respondent to the petitioner for construction of the Indian Aviation Academy & Hostel Block at Vasant Kunj at New Delhi for a contract price of Rs. 93,64,59,246/- vide letter dated 18.04.2013. 3.

The arbitral tribunal was constituted by this Court vide order dated 23.05.2022 in ARB.P. 629/2022. It is pointed out that the arbitral proceedings are at an advanced stage and the petitioner/claimant has already concluded his final arguments.

Respective counsel for the parties jointly request that an appropriate extension of time be granted for completion of arbitral proceedings and making of the arbitral award.
