The Petitioner states that he has preferred a second appeal under the RTI Act, 2005, before the Central Information Commission1 on 16th July, 2024, which was diarized vide Diary No. 123008 on 18th July, 2024. The Petitioner's grievance is that the said second appeal has not been heard till 1 "CIC"

The Court has considered the contentions raised by the Petitioner. It is directed that in case the Petitioner has any urgency, they are permitted to apply to the CIC explaining the urgency which then be considered on its own merits.

Furthermore, the CIC is directed to decide the second appeal preferred by the Petitioner in a time bound manner as expeditiously as possible, depending upon their roster.
