W.P. (C) No.2610/2016 The petitioners have filed the present petition seeking direction to respondents to consider the case of the petitioners for departmental promotion by convening Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) and take necessary action as recommended by DPC. The petitioners also seek promotion as TGT (Hindi) and TGT (Social Science) with effect from the date on which the aforesaid posts became vacant. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners made

representation dated 02.03.2016 and the same has not been decided so far. Mr. Sadan Parashar, Advocate appearing on behalf of respondent Nos.1 and 2 submits that the representation of the petitioners dated 02.03.2016 shall be decided within a period of four weeks by passing a speaking order.

Mr. Naresh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he is satisfied with the aforesaid and has no objection if the petition is disposed of with directions to respondents to decide petitioners' representation dated 02.03.2016.` In view of the above, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of the petition with directions to respondent Nos.1 and 2 to decide the petitioners' representation dated 02.03.2016 within four weeks by passing a speaking order and the decision thereof will be communicated to the petitioners within a period of one week thereafter.

The petition stands disposed of.
