Ms. Vaishali Gupta, Counsel appearing for respondent no.1 has presented a short affidavit on behalf of respondent no.1/ Government of National Capital of Delhi ('GNCTD'), which acknowledges paragraph 9.1.1 of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Scheme, 2019 ('Scheme of 2019'), that mandates GNCTD to constitute a State Vending Coordination Committee to monitor the implementation of Rules & Schemes by the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and Town Vending Committees (TVCs).

It is stated in the said affidavit that three months' time is required for compliance.

Paragraph 5 of the said affidavit is extracted as under for reference: "5. Department is in the process of constitution of State Vending Coordination Committee and humbly seeks a time of three months for the compliance of Para 9.1.1. of the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Scheme, 2019."

In view of the statement made by counsel for respondent no.1 /GNCTD, the present petition is disposed of with a direction that no further time will be permitted beyond the period of three months as has been requested.

This shall be treated as an undertaking by respondent no.1/ GNCTD to the Court.

Ms. Vaishali Gupta, counsel for respondent no.1 shall ensure that this order be communicated to the Chief Secretary, in order that the three months' deadline is fully complied with, as per the undertaking given. 7.
Considering that the paragraph 9.2 of the Scheme of 2019 also mandates the constitution of a Street Vendors Welfare Board, the same shall also be constituted within the same period.

Present petition is disposed of, with liberty to petitioner to approach this Court in case of any infraction.

Pending applications, if any, are rendered infructuous. 10.
