% 05.04.2016 The petitioner is aggrieved by the action of the respondent in prescribing the upper age limit as 56 years for the post of Registrar in the advertisement published in November, 2015.

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that Dr. Pramod Kumar has been appointed as Registrar of the respondent, University. Learned counsel for respondent has placed on record copy of letter dated 17.03.2016 whereby Dr. Pramod Kumar was informed about his selection to the post of Registrar in the University along with the copies of appointment letter as well as Joining Report both dated 18th March, 2016 and notification dated 21.03.2016 regarding appointment of Dr. Pramod Kumar as Registrar of the University.

The same are taken on record.

Copies of the same are also handed over to counsel for the petitioner.

It is pertinent to mention here that advertisement for the said vacancy

was published in November, 2015. The Petitioner has filed the present petition on 17.03.2016 and the same was re-filed after removing objection on 18.03.2016.

The documents placed on record by the respondent clearly shows that Dr. Pramod Kumar has been appointed as Registrar of the University and joined the said post on 18.03.2016.

Thus, the present petition has become infructuous and the same is accordingly dismissed.
