This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2.

The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the BNSS has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner-Ms. Ritu Issar, seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus for production of her husband-Mr. Chandan Issar.

Various allegations have been made in the petition, inter alia, that the husband of the Petitioner has been illegally detained by some relatives, i.e., Respondent Nos. 2 to 8.

Ld. Standing Counsel (Criminal) for the State has handed over a status report dated 18th December, 2024 and the same is taken on record. As per the said report, there is a matrimonial discord between the Petitioner and her husband. It is stated that the husband is living in Plot no. 370, Gali no. 25, Chattarpur Pahari, New Delhi.

The Petitioner's husband is present in Court and submits that he is living in the aforesaid property and a portion of the same has been given on rent to his friend, Respondent No. 8/Mr. Amit Kumar. 6.

The Court has interacted with the husband. Since the husband of the Petitioner has appeared before this Court, no further orders are called for. 7.

However, it is submitted by the ld. Counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner/wife wishes to avail mediation services of the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre (hereinafter "Mediation Centre") in order to try and resolve their matrimonial disputes. 8.

Accordingly, independent of this petition, the Petitioner and her husband-Mr. Chandan Issar, may appear before the Mediation Centre on 23rd December, 2024 at 03:00 PM to attempt resolution of these disputes. 9.

With the aforesaid directions, the petition is disposed of along with pending applications, if any.
