Accordingly, the application stands disposed of. W.P.(CRL) 3959/2024 1.

The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking parole for the period of two (2) months to the Petitioner. It is stated that though the application dated 12.12.2024 has been moved before the competent authority seeking grant of emergency parole to the Petitioner, no decision has been communicated to Petitioner so far qua the said application.

Learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State submits that the application dated 12.12.2024 filed by the Petitioner shall be decided within a period of three (3) weeks. taken on record and the Respondent is bound down to the same. Respondent is directed to communicate the said order to the Petitioner forthwith upon a decision.

In case, the Petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the competent authority, he shall be at liberty to avail his remedies in accordance with law.
