O R D E R

% 24.05.2016 The present is a petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, praying for a direction to the official respondent to release the petitioner on parole in order to enable him to prefer an SLP before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. In the present case it is observed that the petitioner has never been released on parole on any previous occasion. The petitioner has not been able to furnish a local address which is a necessary prelude to the institution of a Special Leave Petition to assail the order dated 10.12.2014 whereby his Crl.A. 1506/2014 was dismissed by this court.

In view of the above, in my view, the discretion vested in the competent authority for considering the representation filed by the petitioner seeking parole has been exercised appropriately in the present case and does not warrant any interference.

In view of the foregoing the present petition is devoid of merit and is hereby dismissed.
