O R D E R

% 10.03.2017 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 are related to each other. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial matter which led to registration of FIR No. 857/2015 under Sections 323/341/506/34 IPC against the petitioners at police station Patel Nagar, on the complaint of respondent no.2. It is further submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, present FIR may be quashed. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Balbir Singh of police station Patel Nagar. Respondent no.2 submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioners of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

He further submits that he is not

interested in pursuing the FIR any further in view of the settlement and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the parties, inasmuch as, respondent no.2 is not interested in pursuing the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 857/2015 under Sections 323/341/506/34 IPC registered at police station Patel Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
