By way of the instant writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners prays the following prayers: " i. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly a writ of mandamus, directing the Respondent to provide protection to both the Petitioners and ensure that no harm befalls either of them, particularly, from the family members of the petitioner no.l and further directions them not to interfere into the life of the petitioners. ii. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly a writ of mandamus, directing the Respondent not to take any coercive action on the Complaint or FIR (if already registered) filed by the family members of petitioner no.l against the Petitioners and family members of the Petitioner No.2.

iii. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly a writ of mandamus, thereby directing the Respondents not to interfere in the peaceful marital life of the Petitioners and not to cause any harm or bodily injury to the said Petitioners"

The Investigating Officer (IO), present in Court, is duly informed that the petitioners are major, they have married each other and are staying together. The IO states that the complaint filed against the petitioners by their parents will be closed accordingly.

Also, in the meantime, the phone number of the Beat Constable and the SHO be given to the petitioners and in case of need for protection, the SHO concerned will ensure that the petitioners are extended assistance as per law.

Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of. 5.
