% 23.03.2016 This is a petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India, inter alia, seeking declaration of action of the respondents in not entering the B.Tech. Degree in Electrical Engineering from JRN University in the service record of petitioners as illegal and arbitrary. The petitioner further seeks directions to respondents to enter the said degree in Engineering in the service record of petitioners and give the benefit of the same while assessing them for promotion to the higher post.

Learned counsel for the petitioners made a representation dated 09.01.2016 which has not been decided so far.

Learned senior counsel for respondent No.2 appearing on advance notice submits that the representation of the petitioner dated 09.01.2016 shall be decided within a period of four weeks by passing a speaking order. In view of the submission made by counsel for the respondent No.2, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of the petition with direction to respondent No.2 to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 09.01.2016 within four weeks by passing a speaking order and the decision thereof shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week thereafter. The petition stands disposed of.
