% 22.01.2019 Quashing of FIR No. 766/2016, under Section 498A/406/34 of IPC, registered at Police Station Malviya Nagar, Delhi is sought on the basis of Memorandum of Understanding of 16th September, 2017 (Annexure P-2).

Upon notice, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that respondent No. 2 is present in the Court who has been duly identified as first informant of FIR in question by SI Sneh Lata. Respondent No. 2 submits that after reconciliation, she is happily living with petitioner-husband but she wants more time to decide whether the proceedings arising out of the said FIR to be brought to an end or not. CRL.M.C. 1981/2018

In view of the aforesaid, this petition is disposed of as pre-mature while making it clear that the proceedings before the trial court shall be kept on hold for a period of atleast six months from today.
