% 21.03.2017 Crl.M.A. No. 4145/2017 Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. The application stands disposed of.

CRL.M.C. 995/2017 The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.266/2013 registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 354A/ 354 IPC against the petitioner at Police Station - Vijay Vihar.

Issue notice. Mr. Mukesh Kumar accepts notice on behalf of the State. Respondent No.2 is present in Court. She also accepts notice. She is identified by the Investigating Officer as well as learned counsel representing her.

The parties have arrived at a settlement on 24.11.2015 in mediation, which has been placed on record. The complainant states that she has not been subjected to any pressure or coercion and that she has entered the settlement out of her own free will. The complainant further states that she joins the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question. The petitioner, who is present in person, states that he is remorseful of his conduct and that he is willing to atone for the same. He states that the Court may subject him to such terms and conditions as it deems appropriate. Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are quashed subject to the petitioner depositing costs of Rs.5,000/- in the Delhi Legal Services Authority within two weeks. The receipt of deposit of the said costs be provided to the I.O., only thereafter the FIR and the proceedings emanating therefrom shall stand quashed. Dasti.
