W.P.(CRL) 766/2017 The petitioners have filed the present petition seeking quashing of FIR No.73/2017registered on the complaint of the complainant under Sections 323/308/506/34 IPC against the petitioners at Police Station Anand Vihar. Issue notice. Notice is accepted on behalf of the State. Respondent nos.2 to 5 are present in court and accepts notice. They are identified by the I.O.

The parties have arrived at a settlement on 23.02.2017, which has been placed on record.

The petitioners state that they are remorseful of their conduct and that they are willing to atone for the same. They state that the court may subject them to such terms and conditions as it deem appropriate. The complainant states that they have not been subjected to any pressure or coercion and that they have entered the settlement out of free will. The complainant further states that they join the prayer for quashing of the FIR in question.

Accordingly, no useful purpose would be served in proceeding further with the FIR in question and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The same are hereby quashed subject to each of the petitioners depositing Rs.5,000/- with the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund within two weeks. The receipt of the costs be provided to the I.O. and thereafter the case shall be closed.
