O R D E R

The present proceedings are instituted on behalf of the petitioner seeking quashing of FIR No. 380/2019 registered under Sections 363/343 IPC at P.S. Jafrabad, Delhi on the ground that the parties have amicably settled their disputes.

As per the allegations levelled in the FIR, the complainant's daughter went missing for which he suspected the petitioner. 3.

Learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that the petitioner is the only accused person and respondent No.2 is the complainant in the present case.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and respondent No. 2 are known to each other being neighbours and present FIR was registered due to some misunderstanding and with the intervention of family members and friends, parties have amicably settled their disputes The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. vide Memorandum of Understanding dated 01.10.2024, a copy of which has been placed on record. In terms of the said settlement, complainant is now left with no claim or grievance against the petitioner. The complainant is present in Court and submits that the victim is his daughter, who has also authorized him to make a statement on her behalf, stating that she has no objection to the quashing of FIR. 5.

The petitioner and respondent No.2, who are present in Court, have been identified by their counsel as well as the IO/ SI Hemant, P.S. Jafrabad, Delhi. Petitioner has shown remorse for his conduct and undertake not to repeat the same in future.

Respondent No. 2 states that he has entered into the settlement with the petitioner out of his own free will, volition and without any coercion. He further states that he has no objection if the present FIR and consequent proceedings are quashed.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements and undertaking made in Court today.

In view of the above facts and since no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings, it is directed that the aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings arising therefrom are hereby quashed. 9.

The petition alongwith the pending application is disposed of in the above terms.
