% 29.07.2016 Respondent no.2 is wife of petitioner no.1.
Petitioner nos.2 to 4 are the relatives of petitioner no.1. Petitioners and respondent no.2 submit that the matter has been settled before the mediation centre, Rohini Courts, Delhi on 31st October, 2015.
First motion has already been accepted on 21st January, 2016.
It is submitted that second motion would be filed today itself.
Parties shall remain bound by the terms of the settlement (annexureB at page 32). Respondent no.2 submits that she is not willing to pursue the
present FIR any further in view of the settlement. Investigations are stated to be still going on.
In view of settlement arrived at between the parties, in the interest of justice, the FIR No.1000/2014 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Shalimar Bagh on the complaint of respondent no.2 is quashed.
Writ petition is disposed of in the above terms. A.K. PATHAK, J.
