This is a petition filed under Section 29A (4) & (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 12 months.

It is stated by learned counsel for the petitioner that certain witnesses had to be summoned from abroad which took some time. Hence, the delay.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Dhurve, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.
