The present petition under Section 29A(4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, read with Section 7 of the Commercial Courts Act, 2015, has been filed on behalf of the petitioner, seeking the following prayer:

"In the facts and circumstances above, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hon‟ble Court may be pleased to extend the mandate of the Ld. Arbitral Tribunal till 30.06.2025 or such further period as may be considered appropriate by this Hon‟ble Court; or in The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. the alternative if this Hon‟ble Court considers it appropriate, to pass such any other orders and directions in respect of the mandate of the Ld. Sole Arbitrator as it considers fit and proper in the facts and circumstances as set out above"

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal had expired on 31.10.2024.

Issue notice. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents accepts notice and fairly states that he does not have an objection to the extension of the mandate.

Considering the aforesaid request and the no objection given by the other side, the present petition is allowed, and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended for a period of six months, till 30.04.2025, i.e. with effect from 01.11.2024.

Further, the Arbitral Tribunal is requested to proceed with the matter and try to decide it expeditiously, without granting any undue adjournment to any party, considering that this is the fourth extension being granted in the present case.

The petition is disposed of in above terms.
