The present petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter 'the A&C Act') seeks extension of time for completion of arbitral proceedings and making of the arbitral award. 2.

The arbitral proceedings are, inter alia, in the context of the petitioner's claim for interest on delayed payments under the provisions of the MSMED Act, 2006.

The learned sole arbitrator was appointed by the Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) upon reference being received from the Micro and Small Enterprise Facilitation Council (MSEFC). 4.

The arbitral proceedings are stated to be at an advanced stage and final arguments are in the process of being addressed. 5.

Respective counsel for the parties jointly request that an appropriate extension of time be granted for completion of arbitral proceedings and making of the arbitral award.
