This is a petition under Section 29A (4) & (5) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act filed by the Petitioner seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a period of one year for making the arbitral award. 2.
Material on record indicates that disputes arose between the parties under the Lease Deed and an Asset Sale Agreement dated 23.10.2019 and the Arbitral Tribunal was constituted on 28.04.2022. It is stated that the pleadings in the matter were completed on 12.11.2022 and the period of one year from completion of pleading came to end on November, 2023. 3.
It is stated that since the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has come to an end on 09.11.2023, as the Respondent failed to convey its consent for The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. extension of time, the Petitioner has approached this Court by filing the instant petition seeking extension of mandate from 09.11.2023. 4.
It is stated by learned Counsel for the parties that the award has been reserved by the Arbitral Tribunal.

In view of the above, this Court is inclined to extend the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal for a period of one year and six months from 09.11.2023 so that the arbitral award can be passed in the matter. 6.
The petition is disposed of along with pending application(s), if any.
