Learned counsel for the parties have been heard to some extent. However, without prejudice to their rights and the contentions they have made during the course of hearing, they are broadly agreeable for cross examination of the complainant through video conferencing. The petition is therefore disposed of with the following understanding :- a. for cross-examination by virtual mode, with the same being limited to five questions being put to the complainant.

b. The learned Ombudsman shall permit the cross-examination as per his convenience and other logistical factors.

It is made clear that this order is without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties, and shall not be an expression on the maintainability of the petition.
