The petitioner has filed this petition as a Public Interest Litigation (PIL), inter alia, praying as under:- "A. Pass an appropriate writ / order / direction, in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to allow the street vendors to peacefully vend, in terms of Certificate of Vending issued by respondent no. 1, from the vending at the site i.e. new bridge over Barahpullah Drain, Daryaganj Ward, Central Zone, without any hinderance being caused by any public official / authority."

We do not consider it apposite to pass any blanket orders in this petition.
