By way of present petition, the petitioner seeks parole for a period of one month in FIR No.169/2010 registered under Sections 302/34 IPC and FIR No.170/2010 registered under Section 302 IPC, both at P.S. Ashok Vihar, Delhi.

A Status Report has been handed over in Court, stating that the deceased (an uncle of the petitioner) is survived by his own two elder brothers. The Status Report is also accompanied by a nominal roll of the petitioner as well as list of punishments.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press for the initial prayer and instead, prays that the petitioner be taken in custody for Terahvin of the said deceased uncle of the petitioner, which is to be held on 26.12.2024.

As per the Status Report, the petitioner's uncle, namely Rajesh@Raju expired on 16.12.2024 due to a heart attack. The deceased was residing at WP-233, Wazirpur Village, Ashok Vihar, Delhi. The petition is also accompanied by the Cremation/Burial Ground Receipt, which has also been verified as per the Status Report.

Considering the prayer made, it is directed that the petitioner be taken in custody on the aforesaid address on 26.12.2024 from 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Let the concerned Jail Superintendent take the requisite steps. 6.
The petition stands disposed of in the above terms. 7.
Copy of the order be communicated to the concerned Jail Superintendent for information and necessary compliance.
