IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI

+ W.P.(CRL) 787/2017 VAISHALI MALIK & ANR.

..... Petitioners Through:

Mr.Alok Shukla, Adv.

versus STATE OF NCT OF DELHI & ORS.

..... Respondents Through:

Mr.Sanjay Lao, ASC.

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR

O R D E R

% 11.05.2017 The petitioner Nos.1 & 2, who are majors, had married of their own volition on 08.03.2017. This marriage was not to the liking of respondent No.4. As such the petitioners apprehended trouble at the hands of respondent No.4.

Respondent No.3, by order dated 14.03.2017 was directed to ensure the safety of the petitioners within the territorial bounds of Delhi. Today respondent No.4 appears in Court and submits that he has no difficulty in accepting the marriage of petitioner Nos.1 & 2 and assures this Court that he shall not cause any trouble to the petitioners. With such stand of respondent No.4 which obviously means that there has been a settlement between the parties, the petitioners seek permission to withdraw this writ petition as there is no threat perception.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
