Learned counsel for the appellant is present along with the appellant in person and submits that the appellant has already undergone his entire substantive sentence, deposited the fine imposed by the Trial Court, and was accordingly released from jail. The latest nominal roll dated 30.08.2025 received from the Superintendent, Central Jail No. 4, Tihar, New Delhi, confirms that the appellant paid the fine in jail vide Receipt No. 19417 dated 18.12.2019 and was released on 21.12.2019.

Learned counsel for the appellant, on instructions, further submits that the appellant, having understood the consequences, does not wish to press the present appeal on merits.
