This is a petition filed under Section 29A(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a further period of 4 months for making and publishing the final Award.

It is stated that the arguments have concluded and only the Award needs to be passed.

For the said reason, issue notice to the respondent. 4.

Mr. Agarwal, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

In view of the aforesaid, I am satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for the delay. Hence, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 4 months from today to conclude the arbitration proceedings.
