The petitioner is essentially aggrieved that his application seeking emergency parole, though was filed long back on 25.10.2025, has not been decided till date.

Undisputedly, in terms of Rule 1213 of the Delhi Prisons Rule, 2018 ('DPR'), any application seeking parole is required to be decided within a period of four weeks.

More than four weeks have elapsed since the filing of the application by the petitioner.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with directions to the respondent authorities to decide the petitioner's application within a period of one week from date. 5.
