The present petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India for issuing directions to the trial court for expediting the trial of Civil Suit bearing No.334/2017 titled Surjit Kaur and Anr. Vs. Joginder Kaur and Ors. and Counter Claim bearing CC No.13/2018 titled Joginder Kaur and Ors. vs. Surjit Kaur and Ors. pending before the learned District Judge-06, District West, Tis Hazari Courts in a time bound manner. It is submitted that the Civil Suit was filed in the year 2017 but the respondents are delaying the disposal of the case by seeking adjournments on one or the other pretext.

The suit was filed more than 07 years ago but yet not disposed of. Without knowing the Board position of the Trial Court, it may not be appropriate to grant time bound directions. directed to make best possible endeavour to expedite the disposal of the case.
