The petitioners - Rajat Sharma and Aadi Sharma, are father and son. They have filed these bail applications under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking anticipatory bail in connection with FIR No. 403/2025, dated 19.11.2025, registered at Police Station Vikaspuri, for offences under Sections 110/351(3)/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 ["BNS"].

By orders of this Court dated 03.12.2025, the petitioners were granted interim protection, subject to joining the investigation and The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
cooperating with the Investigating Officer ["IO"]. 3.
The parties are neighbours. The allegation in the present FIR concerns incidents of assault and threats administered by the petitioners upon the complainants.

It appears that there was also a cross-FIR, being FIR No. 410/2025 registered at the instance of wife of Rajat Sharma, against the complainant of the present FIR and his sons.

The parties were referred to mediation by an order dated 20.03.2026, and have subsequently reached a settlement dated 30.04.2026, under the aegis of Samadhan, Delhi High Court. The settlement contemplates that the parties will not pursue the criminal proceedings instituted against each other. In fact, the police have already filed a closure report in FIR No. 410/2025, and the petitioners herein have agreed to accept the same.

Having regard to the fact that the parties have now entered into a settlement, Ms. Manjeet Arya, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State, and Mr. Chirag Rathi, learned counsel for the complainant, do not oppose the request for anticipatory bail. 7.
Consequently, it is directed that in the event of arrest in connection with FIR No. 403/2025, dated 19.11.2025, registered at Police Station Vikaspuri, for offences under Sections 110/351(3)/3(5) of BNS, the petitioners will be released on bail subject to furnishing personal bonds in the sum of Rs.20,000/- each, alongwith one surety each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the IO/SHO, and subject to the following further conditions:
A. The petitioners will appear before the IO as and when required by The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
the IO, and will cooperate in the investigation. B. The petitioners shall not directly/indirectly influence the complainant or tamper with the evidence.
C. The petitioners will give their residential address to the IO, and will not change their residential address without prior intimation to the IO.
D. The petitioners will furnish their mobile numbers to the IO, and shall keep the said mobile phones running and always switched on. The mobile numbers shall not be changed or switched off without prior intimation to the IO.
E. The petitioners shall not commit any offence during pendency of these proceedings.

The bail applications are disposed of in terms of the above. 9.
It is clarified that the observations made herein are solely for the purpose of adjudication of the present bail application and shall not be construed as an expression of opinion on the merits of the case, nor shall they prejudice the rights and contentions of the parties at any stage of the proceedings.
