The instant contempt petition has been registered on contempt reference dated 27th August, 2025, received from the Court of the learned Link JMFC, South East District, New Delhi, alleging that the SHO, P.S. Hazrat Nizamuddin (respondent no. l) and I.O., S.I. Chanchal (respondent no.2) had arrested the accused in FIR No.237/2025 in violation of the directions of the Supreme Court passed in Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar & Anr., AIR 2014 SC 2756, and Satender Kumar Antil v. Central Bureau of Investigation & Anr. [SLP (Crl.) No.5191/2021].
