Petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 has been filed on behalf of the Petitioner Omwati, who is mother-in-law for Respondent No.2, for partial quashing of FIR No.0714/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, registered at PS: Karawal Nagar, Delhi.

Learned APP for the State appears on advance Notice and points out that present Petition is partial quashing of FIR by mother-in-law of Respondent No.2, while husband of Respondent No.2 has already been declared proclaimed offender.

Considering that the allegations are connected through common intention, it would not be appropriate to quash the FIR partially. 4.

In view of aforesaid, present Petition along with pending Applications is disposed of.
