Status report has been filed on behalf of the respondent-MCD on 15th January, 2026.

In the status report, it has been stated that pursuant to demolition order passed by MCD dated 5th January, 2026, demolition action was fixed by the respondent-MCD for 8th January, 2026, however, the same could not W.P.(C) 18342/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. be materialised due to non-availability of police force. Thereafter, the demolition action was fixed for 23rd January, 2026. 3.
Mr. Kapil Dutta, counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-MCD, submits that next demolition action is planned for 16th April, 2025. 4.
Considering the aforesaid submissions and the stand taken in the status report, the present writ petition stands disposed of while directing the respondent-MCD to take appropriate action in accordance with law in an expeditious manner.

If the petitioner has any further grievance, the petitioner may avail appropriate remedies.

All rights, contentions and legal remedies of private respondents are kept open.
