The petitioner is management committee stated to be duly approved by the Delhi Waqf Board to manage properties of Dargha Hazrat Maqdoom Samuddin, situated in Mehrauli.

The limited relief sought by the petitioner is that it should be allowed to inspect the case file of case SI No.7906/19.03.1988 titled as State vs. Mohd. Ramzan and 2 others.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been actively participating in the aforesaid proceedings, and has even filed various applications in the said case. It is further submitted that, in the circumstances, respondent No. 2/SDM has grossly erred in denying the petitioner the right to obtain certified copies of the relevant documents forming part of the case record, which are necessary for the petitioner to exercise its legal rights, including for the purpose of assailing the order The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. dated 27.09.2025 passed by the SDM.

After some hearing, learned counsel for the SDM submits that the necessary inspection of the case file shall be afforded to the petitioner. It is directed accordingly.

Let the said inspection be afforded to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner would also be at liberty to file certified copies of any relevant documents. Any such application be dealt with in accordance with law.
