After addressing some arguments, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the applicant seeks permission to withdraw the present application at this stage with liberty to file afresh. However, it is stated that the present applicant has been in judicial custody for more than seven years and 10 out of 31 witnesses have been examined and therefore, the learned Trial Court be directed to conclude the trial within a period of one year. 2.
In view of the above, the present application stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file afresh.

In the meantime, the learned Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial in the present case within a period of one year subject to the condition that neither of the parties will seek any unnecessary adjournments.
