Through the present petition, the petitioner seeks parole for a period of four weeks in connection with the petitioner's conviction arising out of FIR no. 157/2013 registered at PS Vaasant Vihar for the offence punishable under Sections 302 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act, 1959.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed the representation/application dated 10.10.2025 for parole, however, the same is still pending before the concerned Jail Superintendent/Jail Authority. He prays that the same may be decided expeditiously in accordance with law.

Learned ASC for State has no objection to the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 7.

After perusal of the record and contentions made in the petition to which no objections arise from the respondent, this Court is inclined to allow the innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioner. 8.

Accordingly, the concerned Jail Superintendent/Jail Authority is directed to decide the representation/application dated 10.10.2025 within a period of four weeks from today.

With the aforesaid directions, the present petition is disposed of along with pending applications, if any.
