Exemption allowed, subject to all just exceptions. 2.

The application is disposed of.

W.P.(CRL) 4022/2025 & CRL.M.A. 36118/2025 (interim relief) 3.

The present petition is filed praying as under: "It is therefore most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ of Mandamus and/or any other appropriate writ(s), order(s) and/or direction(s) thereby directing the respondent Nos. 1 to 4 to provide immediate police protection to the petitioner and these respondent Nos. 1 to 4 may also be directed to take appropriate legal action against the respondent Nos.5 to 8 who are extending serious threats to the petitioner and his family members and it may also be seen that the petitioner (old man aged about 88 years and a senior citizen) is not thrown out of his house bearing No. B-14/1, Ground Floor, Mukhram Garden, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi-110018 which is the only shelter of the petitioner.

Any further and/or such other relief(s) deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be granted to the petitioner"

State, on instructions, submits that the Beat Officer of the concerned area will be deputed to visit the petitioner regularly and every effort will be made to ensure that no illegality is committed on the petitioner. She further submits that efforts will be made to ensure that the petitioner is not dispossessed by anyone from his residence without the due process of law being followed and the number of the Beat Officer will also be provided to the petitioner.

She submits that considering the age of the petitioner, the concerned Beat Officer would also be sensitised and prompt action will be taken as an when any complaint is made by the petitioner in relation to any threat to his life. 6.

In view of the submissions made by the learned ASC, no further direction is required to be passed at this stage. 7.

Needless to say, the petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate remedies in law in case any grievance remains in future.

The writ petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. Pending application also stands disposed of.
