The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that an amount of Rs.5 lakhs will be deposited with the Registrar General of this Court today itself, which will be accepted by the Registry. The learned counsel further states that he has no objection, if the entire amount, which has been deposited by him, is released to respondent no.2 in terms of the settlement. 2.

Accordingly, it is ordered that in terms of the settlement between the parties, the entire amount deposited by the petitioner, will be released to respondent no.2 under proper receipt.

Both the parties state that in view of the settlement, they have no objection in quashing the FIR in question.

at Police Station Mehrauli, Delhi, for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 420/468/471/120-B of IPC and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
