The Petitioner states that several legal proceedings have been initiated against him by P.S Central Crime Station, Hyderabad, the details of which have been delineated in Paragraph No. 5 of the instant petition. 2.

However, the Petitioner is uncertain as to whether there exist any active Look out Circular(s)1 against him. The Petitioner is intending to undertake travel, and has filed the instant petition apprehending issuance of LOCs, which might create an impediment in such travel. He seeks the following reliefs:

"a) Issue a writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction thereby directing the Respondent to provide information as to whether any Look out Circular has been issued against the Petitioner by any authority;

b) Direct the Respondents to provide information of the Look out Circular, if any issued against the Petitioner;

c) Pass any other order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem just and proper in the fact and circumstances of the case."

Mr. Amit Tiwari, CGSC for the Respondent, on instructions, states that the Bureau of Immigration has received a request from DCP Central Centre Station, State of Hyderabad with the request-: "On detection (arrival/ departure) immediately inform originator for further course of action". Accordingly, it is affirmed that a Look out Circular has been issued against the Petitioner.

The aforenoted statement made by Mr. Tiwari is taken on record. In light of the said statement, the Petitioner's grievance, as urged in the present petition stands redressed.

The Petitioner shall be free to take recourse against the Look out Circular referred above, if so advised, before a Court of competent jurisdiction.
