% 30.07.2018 Recording of evidence is underway. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would not like to press the application at this stage. However, he submits that the petitioner has been incarcerated for more than a year and trial has not been completed yet. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State assures the Court that every endeavour would be made to have the evidence recorded within a period of 8 months from today, subject to the list of business before the Trial Court.
