By way of the present petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner assails an order dated 17.11.2025, issued by the Special Court. By the impugned order, the Special Court declined to suspend a Look Out Circular ["LOC"] issued against the petitioner.

Mr. Shikher Deep Aggarwal, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that, in the meanwhile, the petitioner has been arrested on 15.04.2026. He therefore submits that the petition has been rendered infructuous. However, Mr. Aggarwal seeks a direction upon the respondent No. 1 - Directorate of Enforcement ["ED"] to take steps in terms of paragraph 6(N)(v) of the Consolidated Guidelines for issuance of LOC in respect of Indian citizens and foreigners, issued by the Ministry CRL.M.C. 8711/2025 Page 1 of 2 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. of Home Affairs vide Office Memorandum dated 22.02.2021. The said clause reads as follows:
"v. Whenever the subject of LOC is arrested or the purpose of the LOC is over, a deletion request shall be sent by the Originator immediately to the BoI."

Mr. Anurag Jain, learned counsel for ED, submits, upon instructions, that necessary steps, in accordance with law, will be taken within the next two weeks.

Mr. Neeraj Kumar, learned Central Government Standing Counsel for respondent Nos. 2 and 3, also submits that, upon receiving necessary request from respondent No. 1, consequential steps will be taken within a period of one week thereafter.

The petition is disposed of in view of the aforesaid submissions.
