Vide the instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 ("BNSS" hereinafter), the petitioners are seeking protection from any threat at the instance of respondent Nos.2 to 4 as well as a direction to respondent no.1/State not to register any false case against them. 2.

It is submitted by the petitioners that they know each other for the past 7-8 years and the petitioner No.1 belongs to Hindu religion whereas petitioner No.2 belongs to Muslim religion. It is further submitted that on 23rd November, 2024 petitioner No.1 embraced Islam and got married to The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. petitioner No.2 as per Muslim rites. It is further submitted that respondent Nos.2 and 3 are the father and uncle of the petitioner No.2, respectively, and the respondent No.4 is the father of the petitioner No.1 and since it was an inter-caste love marriage, the respondents Nos.2 to 4 have objection to the marriage of petitioners. It is also submitted that this marriage is the second marriage of the petitioner No.2. Petitioners have apprehension that the respondent Nos.2 to 4 may cause serious harm to the petitioners herein. Hench, the instant petition has been filed.

In view of above, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the SHO of Police Station Kapashera, Delhi to provide adequate security to the petitioners, if required. The Beat Constable is also directed to provide his contact details to the petitioners herein.
