This is a writ petition for issuance of direction to the Ld. Trial Court for expediting the trial in case FIR no. 187/2022 registered at PS Narela, under Sections 302/120B/34 IPC.

The Ld. Counsel who appears for the petitioners submits that charge in this case was framed on 08.04.2024 despite the fact that petitioner and the co-accused had conceded on the point of charge way back on 29.10.2022. reason that the material witnesses are yet not examined. 3.

The Ld. ASC who appears for the State submits that case property is in FSL and that FSL result is still awaited.

The Investigating Officer may take up the matter with the Director FSL for expediting the filing of the FSL result. In the meanwhile, the Trial Court is directed that till such time the FSL result is received, it may at least proceed to examine the witnesses which are unrelated with the FSL result so that the trial may proceed further.

The petition is disposed of in terms of above and with further direction to the Trial Court to not to grant unnecessary adjournments and make best possible endeavour to ensure that the trial is expedited.
