% 23.05.2018 The petitioner claims that he was squatting at Netaji Nagar Market near Sarojini Nagar Market, Delhi since the year 1996. The name of the petitioner finds mentioned at Sr.No.475 in the list of 628 eligible squatters prepared by the NDMC. The entire Netaji Market and its surrounding areas have since been taken over by the National Building Construction Corporation (India) Ltd. (NBCC) under the redevelopment plan. Consequently, the market had been demolished and petitioner was removed. The petitioner thereafter made an application to the respondent allowing him to earn his livelihood from an alternate suitable site. This request is stated to be pending since 28.02.2018. When the matter was come up for hearing on 04.04.2018, time was sought to seek instructions in the matter. The matter was adjourned to 24.04.2018 and thereafter for today i.e. 23.05.2018.

Mr. Mishra, counsel for the respondent submits that the request of the petitioner is being considered and the representation would be decided within a

period of two weeks from today.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the present writ petition may be disposed of binding the respondent to the stand taken in the Court. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. We direct the respondent to consider the request of the petitioner within a period of two weeks from today. The order shall be communicated to the petitioner at the address mentioned in the writ petition. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. Dasti.
