The Petitioner is an under-trial prisoner in FIR No. 172/2023, under Section 21/29/61/85 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, presently on interim bail since, 13th October, 2025 on account of medical condition of his father, which has been extended on several occasions from time to time.

report after verification of medical documents annexed with the application. It is confirmed that the Applicant's father underwent surgery on 02nd December, 2025, and remains admitted for post-operative care, and is under observation due to rising creatinine levels causing facial swelling. Discharge will be planned once his condition stabilises. 6.
Interim bail cannot be granted indefinitely and that the Applicant has already been on bail for more than two months. Nevertheless, considering the circumstances and the fact that there is no other male family member to provide post-operative care to Applicant's father, the interim bail is extended for a further period of three weeks with effect from today, on the same terms and conditions as stipulated in the order dated 13th October, 2025.
