The present petition seeks that the Central Consumer Protection Authority, New Delhi be directed to expeditiously consider and dispose of the petitioner's complaint bearing no. 225387/2022/CCPA registered on 29.11.2022. The said complaint alleges violations of consumer rights and unfair trade practices by certain companies in relation to inter alia, the labelling, expiry dates, and pricing of their products. 2.

The petitioner alleges that, despite submitting the complaint and pursuing the matter through reminders and applications, the CCPA has not provided any meaningful information regarding the status of the complaint. 3.

other follow up complaints are under active consideration by the CCPA. It is submitted that the said complaints are being examined on priority and an endeavour shall be made to conclude the investigation and dispose of the complaints as expeditiously as possible.

Let an endeavour be made to conclude the aforesaid exercise as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six months from today.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that apart from the complaint already submitted by the petitioner, no further complaint shall be filed by the petitioner which is overlapping, or has a bearing on the complaints already been filed by the petitioner. 6.
