CRL.M.A. 38169/2025 (seeking exemption from surrendering before the concerned jail authorities by extending the period of furlough granted by this Court vide order dated 05.12.2025) 3.
The Petitioner, who is life convict in FIR No. 490/1992 under Sections 302/397/120B/34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at P.S. Hari Nagar, Delhi.

due to expire tomorrow. It is stated that the Petitioner's spouse is suffering from chronic kidney disease and, for the purpose of a transplant, the Petitioner is a potential donor and is undergoing transplant-related investigations. In these circumstances, after completion of the first spell of furlough, this Court had permitted the Petitioner to continue on a second spell of furlough vide order dated 5th December, 2025. However, due to unforeseen and unavoidable reasons, the Petitioner was unable to secure an appointment with the concerned doctor during the said period. 5.
Considering the peculiar facts and circumstances of the case, the Petitioner's request is allowed. The Petitioner is granted a third spell of furlough for a period of two weeks, commencing from the day after tomorrow, on the same terms and conditions as were applicable during the first spell of furlough.

With the above directions, the present application is disposed of. 7.
Copy of the order be sent to the concerned Jail Superintendent for necessary information and compliance.
